The Marquis Business Person of the Year award began in 1991. Lifson joins an impressive list of business men and women, most of which continue to remain vital to our local business community. Typically awarded to a single individual, it was once — in 2004 — awarded to a couple, Scotty Hampton and Wendy Tamis, the married co-owners of Clocks Etc. in La Fiesta Square.
